Heuer Silverstone 110.313R
Heuer Silverstone, a rare short production model featuring a striking burgundy red dial.
Presented with a Tag Heuer outer and inner circular box (Not Original) and Tag Heuer service guarantee card last serviced 15.01.2021- the original box and warranty are not included
The watch is in good working order, and is in excellent condition, there is a small deviation in the top right hand of the dial. only noticable in certain light and angle.
When Heuer introduced the world’s first automatic chronographs, in 1969, the line-up of models consisted of the Autavia, the Carrera and the Monaco
The Monaco did not gain the expected popularity, leading Heuer to launch the Silverstone in 1974 as its replacement.
The Silverstone was the first Heuer chronograph named after a racetrack, paving the way for the Daytona, Monza, and Jarama.
Like the Monaco, the Silverstone features a square case, but tones down its predecessor's bold design elements with rounded corners instead of squared ones, and softened edges with a sculpted bezel.
This ref. 110.313R features a striking burgundy red dial with luminous hour markers that developed a nice cream coloured patina over the years
Keeping this watch strapped to the wrist is a three-link stainless steel bracelet with a 'Heuer' signed clasp. Note the bracelet shows signs of stretching based on usage and age, this adds to the character.
It is powered by the Heuer Caliber 12, a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve
2 additional links are supplied along with a Burgundy "Conner" leather strap and unsigned generic stainless buckle.
